Returns Policy

LED Lighting Specials offers a full refund or exchange for website sales and in-Store purchases for change of mind purchases within a 30-day period with a proof of purchase (Provided the item has NOT been installed).

For items that are faulty or damaged upon receipt, LED Lighting Specials will offer a full refund or exchange in accordance with its obligations under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

Important
Products that have been installed CANNOT be returned for a change of mind refund/exchange.

Products may have variations based on the image depicted. Variations include and not limited to color/finish and scale of the image.

Procedures and method of returning goods

For purchase made IN-STORE:
If the purchase has been made in-store, please accompany the product with a proof of purchase within 30 days to get a FULL refund or Exchange.

However the following conditions apply:

  • Product has to be in its original packaging and condition.
  • The return or Exchange is within 30 days of the receipt.
  • Product has NOT been installed (further conditions apply to faulty products).

For purchases made ONLINE:
To receive an immediate exchange or refund, you can return the goods within 30 days to the store from which they were supplied. The location of the store will appear on your receipt. Please follow the steps listed for the IN-STORE Purchase. Please note that any Refund or Exchange will be ONLY to the Value of the product EXCLUDING Freight (if product was shipped to you).

However the following conditions apply:

  • The return or Exchange is within 30 days of the receipt.
  • Product has NOT been installed (further conditions apply to faulty products).

Return by Shipping
To arrange a refund or exchange by sending the goods back to LED Lighting Specials, please email our sales team on sales@ledlightingspecials.com.au (Mon-Fri, 9.00am-5.00pm EST).
Customer’s will need to cover the cost of freight, and include your original receipt or website order confirmation email with your returned items.

However the following conditions apply:

  • Product has to be in its original packaging and condition.
  • The return or Exchange is within 30 days of the receipt.
  • Product has NOT been installed (further conditions apply to faulty products).

Warranties
All light fittings have a minimum 12 month warranty (unless stated), if installed by a qualified electrician, excluding globes.For items that are faulty or damaged upon receipt, LED Lighting Specials will offer a full refund or exchange in accordance with its obligations under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

LED Lighting Specials by Law
Limits its obligations and liability for the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price of any goods to its obligations under the Act; is not liable for any contingent, consequential or punitive damages arising in way whatsoever in relation to the use of any goods; and is not liable for any claim, loss or expense incurred by any person resulting from the delivery, non-delivery or return of any goods.

Ceiling fans Warranties
Manufacturers or Wholesalers supply a 2 year in home warranty (unless stated) on all hard wired fans if installed by a qualified electrician.

To Claim an In-Home warranty, please check the manufacturers guide lines and procedures.
If unsure, please contact LED Lighting Specials by email sales@ledlightingspecials.com.au to provide proof of purchase. We will guide you to the next step.

Warning
All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician.

Additional warranty information
Products that we sell come with guarantees offered by the MANUFACTURERS that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The costs associated with a claim made against these warranties (i.e. postage) are to be borne by you.

These warranties constitute the entire guarantee by the suppliers of LED Lighting Specials. Except where otherwise provided by the Australian Consumer Law, all other obligations, warranties, both expressed and implied are excluded to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Making a Warranty Claim
Customers can return faulty goods to any LED Lighting Specials store with their receipt, within the Warranty period for repair, replacement or refund. You must provide proof of purchase and certificate of install by a Licensed Electrician.

Where goods (other than fans) that are faulty have been installed, a warranty claim form needs to be submitted to the relevant supplier of those goods. An in home warranty claim must be done with the relevant supplier provided that an In-home warranty is offered for that product.

Where the product is a fan the claim is to be made via the warranty department of the relevant supplier.

Should you choose to return goods via shipping you would be responsible for the freight costs, unless the fault is due to LED Lighting Specials.
